I've joined the forum because it seems like a good place to learn from folks who know much, much more than I do! I'm a retired teacher who has been riding on roads and trails from more than 40 years, but has never been on a trials bike. Now seems like a good time to correct that oversight, especially since I live in an area with lots of places that look perfect for trials riding (southern Illinois, in the Shawnee National Forest).

I'm looking forward to reading and learning. Thanks!
