April 26, 201016 yr You should be able to get an age related plate with a letter from yamaha confirming the year it was made. I got a ty 175 registered this way. I wrote to yamaha uk and gave them the frame number and they wrote back confirming the year, they also said it was never intended for road use. I took this along to the dvla and they registered it on an old v plate. Simples. This was a few years ago though.
April 26, 201016 yr They were Mitsui Yamaha back in the day. Yamaha UK now. http://www.yamaha-motor.co.uk/corporate/ymuk/contacts.jsp
