June 3, 201016 yr Hi to all, I never fancied trials and could never see the point of it, been riding since i was 11 (which was a LONG time ago) and i then did 5 years of road racing, and five of Enduro and had road bikes in between. Well now is the time and i have bought a sorted 1998 Gasgas 320 of a mate and i can't get enough of it. A lot of my mates, some of who have done well in MX and national road racing are doing trials and love it. I've only been riding the bike for a couple of weeks but i've picked up a few things already and all i can say is sorry to all those i used to turn my nose up at. Ignorance really is bliss. If i had one of these bikes when i was a kid i'd be 10 times the rider i am now. The billy bonus is that i have the corton trials centre 10 mins down the road from me. I'm looking forward to seeing some of you doing beginners and wobblers eastern centre events this year. I'll be the one making a tit of myself no doubt.
June 3, 201016 yr Hi there - good to hear from another local ! Are you doing the Norwich Viking Trial on the 20th ? - i'll be there (hopefully) wobbling around, so do come say hi. Nice one & best of luck - there are some really nice people about and i've found it a really nice sport to get into at a later age too. Hope to see you there - Cheers

June 6, 201016 yr Author shame but i can't make the 20th as i'll be in germany watching the MXGP but i spoke to chris edwards at corton on thursday and plan to ride there with some tuition, i'm a bit concerned with picking up bad habits and need some pointers to the general stuff as i really have NO idea what i am doing. my missus will be pleased to get me out of the back garden, the front wheel doesn't half chew up the lawn.
June 8, 201016 yr never mind next time !! next one for wobbler's is at Westleton , thats quite a drive for me (North Norfolk Coast ), i will see if i can get into some of the Diss comps, or Bury one`s later( if i improve that is !!), oh and BTW, citroen berlingo van with trailer.
