June 22, 201016 yr Has anyone got one of the new shape VW Caddys? Will a trials bike fit in? Im pretty sure that one will but i'd like to be sure before I go and buy one!
June 22, 201016 yr A nice van to drive, get the TDI model though The Fantic used to go in corner to corner in my caddy ok. Might also be worth you looking at the caddy maxi there slightly longer. Edited June 22, 201016 yr by bilc0
June 22, 201016 yr Nice van, I had a high spec'd TDI new one for 2 years. The bike goes in staight with passenger seat set slightly forward, But I did take out the bulkhead which is very restrictive in its design. Have done events & slept in it. The only fault I had was with electric windows, that was made worse by the crap the dealer ! - but thats a different issue!
June 22, 201016 yr nice van decent to drive frugal spacious lots of lads getting alternate colour schemes and decent alloys with low profile tryes..all for 199 a month on lease....
June 22, 201016 yr I have an 06 TDI, they are slightly lower than the old shape Caddy, depending on what bike you have the bars may touch the roof(if ply lined) but the bike will go in but needs to be loaded up right as tight on head room. Excellent to drive and good on fuel on a run if driven sensibly, they will pull like a train if you put your foot down.... Edited June 22, 201016 yr by bo drinker
April 4, 201115 yr I have an 06 TDI, they are slightly lower than the old shape Caddy, depending on what bike you have the bars may touch the roof(if ply lined) but the bike will go in but needs to be loaded up right as tight on head room. Excellent to drive and good on fuel on a run if driven sensibly, they will pull like a train if you put your foot down.... Headroom problem solved by a strap round the top yoke and fork bottom to compress it a bit? Works in the Berlingo.
