July 1, 201016 yr Hi does anyone know where to get a high compression cylinder head for a 125 sherco? i know they do them for gassers but cant seem to find one for the sherco, Thanks very much.
July 2, 201016 yr Try about an .008 to .010 thinner base gsk. But just to be safe, ck the comp. ratio before running.

Unfortunately , that will not work here as the base gasket is nil and the head is o-ringed. I would guess that anything past .001-2 taken off the head surface on a platter or mill would also require the re-cutting of the o-ring grooves deeper to compensate. The squish band here is already narrow. Not much to play with. Ring up Paxau! He knows something!
