Honda TLR200 Fork Yoke Swap

Featured Replies

Does anybody know (definitely) if RTL250S fork yokes can be used on a TLR200?

is the stem length and diameter the same re fitting into the headstock ?

is the distance between the stanchion centres the same ?

is there any geometry change ?

Thankyou

Not a straight forward swap, steering stem is shorter,

and if you use a longer stem , fork leg alignment between top and bottom yoke is not good,

also fork legs will be slightly more forward, so longer wheelbase .

Thankyou for motomike. You've saved me from acquiring some RTL yokes in the off chance they would fit (seen two sets on ebay in as many months; seems a shame to break up an RTL)

Stick to what you've got. Trouble is a lot of TLR/RTL stuff is listed on ebay and is often withdrawn, sellers either "testing the water" or showing off their parts.... Same culprits been doing it for years.
