NATC: new MotoTrial website and blog

Featured Replies

Also NATC MotoTrial site/blog can now be followed on facebook and twitter. Take a look, hope you like it! BTW, anyone complaining is automatically volunteered to do something about it! (serious!) Here is the url:

Big thanks to Griff Wigley for an excellent new site and to Mike Codde for the fb page. Oh, we had an outdated US club directory that will not be continued. Try Google search. Take care! Brian :icon_salut:

Nice site. Intuitive and easy to move around in.

Jon

Looks nice. How do you get the club directory to come up?

It is no more. If you want to be my volunteer to maintain it, use the contact us page on the site. Otherwise I guess Google is your best bet.

Brian,

I looked around for a list but found nothing specific. Shan has a lot of clubs under links on the T&E website.

Wonder if there is a way where it could be set up where each club registered themselves. If you can tell me what to do to help maintain id be glad to volunteer. Maybe no one else used it i found it a valuable tool from finding a used bike to getting info on an upcomming event. Is there some way the old list can be put up momentarily so i can cut and paste it or bookmark each club and keep it for future reference

Hensley,

I was shocked to read about the list of clubs is gone. Anyway never thought Brian would remove it, but I know, and I have felt the same about hard work to keep up, since unlike MOTOCROSS being a money making enterprise, almost all Trials clubs and everything involved is done as VOLUNTEER labor and meager funds (for hosting?).

Anyway, did Brian send that list to you? For What It is Worth, When I read this about clublist being gone at NATC, I have the list found on the WAYBACK machine, circa 2008 ish I think, that I was only able to copy and paste from an archived image of the website before wayback quit archiving websites.

I will have to contact Brian about maybe I can get his last list, and I can volunteer to make/keep up the list maybe? If not, you and I will start on making the new list, and maybe Brian wouldn't mind, he could link to it. I just do NOT have any webspace to put it onto, yet. I think I have buddies that do have web space though.

I dont have a copy. Im not real computer savy but will be glad to help in any way i can. I wondered if for the time being a blog on the forum called trials clubs might work it would be listed any type of order but would be better than nothing. I was begining to think i was the only one who ever used it.

Couldn't sleep, so I went through as many club websites as I could and made up a list of the ones that are working. Just put it in alphabetical order. No offense to those I may have missed. There are no business/for profit links. I emailed this list to NATC to do with as they please, suggesting maybe a club "links" page, as I don't believe this to be a definitive directory. I do understand the hassle of setting up and keeping such a list current though, and wouldn't blame them if they choose not to post such information. At least it's here for now...
