I just checked my Clymer manual for 125cc engines,TL 71 thru 74 shows piston diameter of 55.97-55.99mm,bore size for those years 56.00-56.51mm. Hope that helps you.Cheers Mal

Can some one tell me the standard piston diameter for a 1974 TL125??? I have 2 manuals and they both give a different size. Thanks

1973,1974,1975 tl125 are 56.0 mm piston = 122 cc 1976 tl125s are 56.5 mm piston = 124 cc Also when Honda increased the displacement in 1976 they went from 8.0 to 1 compression ratio on the early engines to 9.0 to 1 compression ratio on the 124 cc engine. Hope that helps Mark
