Hi could anyone tell me the difference between the Cota 348 and the 349? Or are they both the same, are parts interchangeable.

Some parts are the same, like chain guide parts, forks from later 348s, bars, controls, wheels, many engine parts, but many other engine parts are different. 348s are 305cc 349s are 349cc. Frames on 349s have bottom tubes removed and replaced with alloy bashplate as a stressed member.

Early 349's are not concidered as good as the last 348's but the last 349-350's are the best of the bunch with longer forks better frame and bigger front brake.
