April 18, 201115 yr Hi Guys Just wondering if anybody has any words of wisdom before i go off to look at a 01 sherco 250 What i should look out for and considering it been in good reasonable condition considering its age what i should be looking to pay (roughly)??
April 18, 201115 yr HI, Check wheel bearings have no play in them, linkage bearings are ok by lifting rear of bike and feeling how much movement there is before rear wheel lifts from floor, there will always be a slight amount of play that you can feel but it shouldnt be much more than a few mm. check brakes work and there arnt any leaks or cracks in frame. Start bike and listen for rattles when clutch pulled in and make sure its the year the seller says it is. Good luck and if its all good you should pay between
