April 21, 201115 yr Hi can anyone help my sherco 125 It was just ticking over and all of a sudden stoped i tried to kick it over and found the engine had gone very tight so i removed the barrel to find the piston was all in good order and no sign of seizure in the top end . But something in the bottom end was still tight i turned it by the flywheel a few times and it loosened any ideas !!!!!!!!!!! many thanks
April 22, 201115 yr Author prabably a main bearing has collapsted. common on shercos many thanks you are absolutely right i striped the engine to find bearing cage had broken i was very lucky that the engine was only ticking over at the time that it broke and now real damage done
