I have bought a non-running 250 Ossa Mar which I am currently trying to restore - not immaculate, just to a good usable state. I have never tried trials but always wanted to. I intend to visit a few local events as a spectator and hope to meet some of you then.

Good luck with the Ossa,there are quite a few around the south west,not as common as Yam,Fantic or Honda though.There are plenty of clubs to ride with in the area,Golden valley,Bath Classic,Somerton Classic and ACU,Blackmore Vale,Wilts /Dorset and the South West Classic Trials Association to name just a few.

Thanks for the good wishes and the information. I am in the Minehead area and there are a few clubs here. I doubt the bike will be finished before the winter though!
