August 3, 201115 yr Hi i have my FB being built currently and need some hints on gearing sizes. The engine is 8e 197cc and has the 4 speed box. I might replace with trials cogs but, if i don't what is a good front/rear sprocket combination to get a good usable 1st and 2nd? thanks

August 29, 201114 yr I have a 197 James Commando K7T similar to your FB, let me know what engine, clutch, gearbox and rear sprockets you have at present, I assume you have the 4 speed wide ratio gearbox?.
October 23, 201114 yr Author Managed to get what I needed by dropping the engine sproket down to an 18.
