September 11, 201114 yr Hi, I am about to become a dad and looking at getting rid of my road bike (GSXR) and take up trials. Fed up with dicing with death on every ride! September 11, 201114 yr Evening The clubs good for you would be Lincoln, Banovallum, Pegasus, Loughborough and Peterbourgh. £1500 will get you a nice Beta or Gas Gas. I wouldn't worry about practice, just come to a trial and ride the easy route, you will find loads of people willing to give any advice. Edited September 11, 201114 yr by rev3
September 11, 201114 yr +1 to what rev3 said used to ride round lincolnshire a few years ago. All the clubs are really friendly. And you will get a trial pretty much every weekend within an hour or so drive if you join all the clubs mentioned above As for practice like most places in the uk land for trials is at a premium the only place I know since the demise of metheringham quarry ( shame it was an awesome venue) is wilsons farm near the Humber bridge.
