October 16, 201114 yr Hi Folks! I'm a Brit living in Cyprus, been here 5 years, enjoying the weather. Just bought myself a second hand Gas Gas 280 TXT, I probably own 50% of the trials bikes in Cyprus now. At the moment I have 3 road bikes, a Suzuki DRZ400E, plus the new addition. I'm new to trials, so I'll be pickin' your brains for a few pointers, to keep me on the straight and narrow. On the down side, there are no "Trials" to enter over here, on the plus side I live in the sticks and have, virtually, unlimited access to miles and miles of mountain tracks, less than 100yds from my front door. There are very few restrictions on where you can ride here, the only problem being, there are no soft landings, everything is rocks, gravel or hard pack, there is no mud! I suppose it's an incentive not to fall off! Look forward to talking to you all
October 16, 201114 yr Hi mate, did you have any trouble importing you trials bike in to the Cyprus? Just seem to remember some one having bother because the bike had no seat?

Apparently there is/was a GAS GAS dealer/importer in Nicosia. As to the legality, or otherwise of using it, I won't be going anywhere near a public highway, I've got other bikes for that. However considering the amount of 12 & 13 year olds riding peds around Limassol, and the unregistered/unlicensed/uninsured/untaxed crossers tearing up the tarmac near me, I won't be losing any sleep over the matter! December 31, 201213 yr Hi Nicos & all, just came over to see family for Christmas. Been riding in the (South west) UK for a number of years, got a bit more time for holidays now so was thinking of buying a bike, would leave it with my brother to look after. Currently ride Montesa 4rt, would consider any bike if bought here, or may look into sending one over from the UK. When here I stay around the Larnaca area. If anyone knows of any bikes for sale please let me know. George
