January 26, 201214 yr Hi Just broke part of the inner clutch holder/basket whilst trying to remove it to change crank seal.Will one of a DT fit?

January 27, 201214 yr You also need to check if there are the same number of teeth as the primary drive ratio may be different. There seem to be quite a few on the bay How did you break the inner, its normally the outside that breaks
January 27, 201214 yr Author How did I break it well, lets say I did not put much thought in removing it and used the inner bolts to lock it rather than wait to get the proper tool.
January 28, 201214 yr no it is not same as a dt for a start it is a deeper basket and may also have different gear, I waited months (perhaps more than a year) to locate a new TY 175 clutch basket as mine had wear, I never came across a basket from any other model that would fit. a DT complete clutch may do with a DT casing as that also sticks out a little further than the TY one.

February 1, 201214 yr sorry may have given a bit of duff info, looks like there may be some years of DT175 that are same but some are not, I bought a DT and it was wrong, I am 99% sure a TY suitable item will have part number beginning with 525-
