Reliving My Youth

Featured Replies

Hi folks.

My names Tom, as you have probably guessed from the username! A good decade or so ago now when I was in my early teens, I practiced at Earl Shilton Trials Club in Leicester, I started off on an old JCM (not sure where that originates from), then brought a Fantic, and eventually treated myself to a lovely 99 Montesa 315R. Anyway....recently I have really started to have withdrawl symptoms, strangely enough, encouraged by an 'app' on my phone and have had decided that its time to venture back into it.

Im going to be looking around for a bike within the next few months, but thought I would see how much the world has changed since the last time I was in it, and here seemed to be the best place to start!

Wish me luck!

What app encourages trials bike purchasing ..... i probably need to stay away from that one. Welcome back and enjoy.

That'll be the TrialsExtreme 2 game probably  . Had the same effect on me, and so, 28 years after last owning a trials bike, I recently purchased a Beta Rev 3. (To be fair, I had been threatening to do it since before the iPhone was even invented, but that game did tip the balance...)

Yeah...thats the game! Very addictive, and was the tip of the iceberg for me....now I just need to find myself a bike!
