bronson Posted April 17, 2005 Report Share Posted April 17, 2005 Hi all, I have a '01 sherco 290 that i use for trail riding and i would like to fit a more powerfull headlight. I have emailed sherco.com and asked them how much current can safely be drawn from the magneto, but have had no replies. I have attached a 20watt halogen 12volt globe directly to the standard headlight connector and it is quite brite. By looking at the stator wiring i believe it could take another 20watt globe but i would like to know first. Can anyone tell me who else i might ask? Thanks.
