March 17, 201214 yr hi all is there anything to stop the side stand spring damaging the paint on the swing arm? I never heard or had this problem if the spring is mounted correctly and the sidestand or sidestand mount is not bend. Maybe the pins where you mount the spring or you might have a spring with a too big diameter. Yoou have pics from the mounting situation?
March 18, 201214 yr Author thank you no nothing is bent and the spring is the right lenth think a ruber sleave is the answer i just looked on my gas gas that has a hard plastic sleave over the side stand spring
