May 2, 201214 yr Well, hello from a new owner of an old Bultaco! I just picked up a 1971 Bultaco Sherpa T 250 model 80, and will be restoring it back to former glory. I've dabbled in trials before, had a Yamaha DT125 then a TY175 trials, my dad had a Sherpa T back in the 1980's and I wish I had got it from him before it was gone and I realized what it was. No matter, now I have one and looking forward to rebuilding it over the next while. I'm sure I'll have some questions, hope to bother you all over the next few months to years! Vincent
May 2, 201214 yr Hey Vinny - Welcome to Vintage Trials - You are of course some 3,000 km from us, but like your Dad - I had a number of Sherpa T's back in the 70's - We have a vintage class in our upcoming Outlaw Trial, and I'm sure there will be at least a couple of these fine machines competing.
