May 5, 201214 yr Hi, my next door neighbour has recently bought a gas gas 125 and i have been to a couple of local trials with her. I have had road bikes all my life but I thought i would have a bit of offroad fun. so to see if i would be competent enough I have just bought a cheapie montesa cota 314r? I think. The guy I bought it off fired it up after two prods, but since I got it home, so far it refuses to start or me!! Oh well head scratching time!
May 5, 201214 yr These things use itsy bitsy pilot jets and use such small amounts of gas that it often sits in the tank long enough to go bad. A clean carb and a new plug will probably work wonders. Welcome to trials....you'll have a blast
