Does anyone know what grade aluminium is used for replica cub hubs?

    i've read that 6061 is good stuff for 'billet' parts.....so maybe 6068 is better still...any metalergists out there care to comment? give it a google, and see what info you can find.

    Yes, you may be right 6061 is better

    But the alloy I had was slightly to small in diameter, so I’m going to make some patterns and cast a set in LM25 :thumbup:
