July 26, 201214 yr I have a Sherpa 350 199 and the tank cap is chromed metal not black plastic that you normally see in photos. Does anyone know what the cap would have been originally on a 350 199 ?
July 26, 201214 yr hi depends on wich tank you have if its fibre glass then some did have a chrom cap i had one myself not to long ago. if the tank is plastic or alloy it should have a black cap with the thumbs logo on it.
July 26, 201214 yr Originally the 199 had already a plastic tank lock. Even the models with a metal tank at least on the continent! Might be that in UK they had a metal tank lock? Model 199 gas tank metal with tank lock:
