September 13, 201213 yr Author cracking bike bad design for motor though right infront of back wheel only had it since x mas didn't think i'd be replacing motor so quick! best hand over £100 for a new one then
September 13, 201213 yr its a good place to have the motor believe it or not by being in front of the back wheel it helps with cooling ,its a sealed motor and there should not be anything in the motor that shouldn't be in there. If stuff got into the motor this will put undue stress on the motor ( maybe the bearings are totally shot ? )
September 14, 201213 yr Author bearings all seem fine, been on it again today now thinking i put a bit much oil on chain and it was just that burning off made a flap now to stop crap covering motor will see how it goes over weekend
