Can anyone tell me the position for on/reserve and off for 2012 290, 1 was told (BVM) down was on but the bike will not start! moved it forward and it started so is down off? sorry for the daft question

    Yes down in "ON"

    There is originally this sticker on the tank but it fades out quickly, boot rubbing it off...

    when the petrol level is low in the tank you only get fuel in the reserve position.
