May 10, 200521 yr Last week I was walking by this old work bench that had been sent to our factory from another location. I noticed this picture was under the plexi-glass covering the work bench. It looks like it is from a magazine. There is "Trail Bike 83" printed on the lower right had corner. Not sure if it is page 83 or year 83. Have any clues who the rider is? May 10, 200521 yr Jack, I think the rider is a fellow named D. Randy Riggs. He was an associate editor at Cycle World magazine back in the 70's and a trials enthusiast. He now writes books about cars. The terrain is So Cal. The bike, boots and hair are pure 70's. Viva la 4RT Martin
May 10, 200521 yr Author Martin, Thanks for the info. Just think, that picture could have been sitting on that work bench for over 20 years. Kind of amazing , as much as we change and move things around in my place of work. Looking at that shot of the Honda Trials engine, we have gone full circle but you can really see how much the 4rt engine has developed. Kind of looks like trial specific boots. Before or after the dunlop welly? Don't remember the brand. Jack
