November 16, 201213 yr I have a compete 250cc sherco engine/carb and was wondering how much do engines go for on the secondhand market ( Im wondering if its worth hanging onto ) , the engine is in good condition but haven't been fired up for around 18 months ( the wife is beginning to nag me about getting out of the spare bedroom ) .

November 19, 201213 yr The engine came out of a 2002 Thanks. The cases and crank would be desireable for anyone needing them up through a '10 model 2.5 or 2.9 as I recall. There were changes, yet minor. The '02 had some odd lower gear ratios in first and possibly second, not that the gears usually break anyway.
