hi can any tell me the exzact diameter of a ty gear shaft the one the lever fits on

cant measure mine as its not with me i want to have a play and see if i can adapt linkage cover and add my own turned bronze bush

I have done this mod with a stainless sleeve, basically drill out old bush and press fit new.

You may well find that the shaft is worn where it it runs through the bush, so check this before you start making a bush.

also do you mean the end that goes through the cover? or the end that turns in the gearbox casing? I found that I needed to rebush both on one engine,
