Oldie Ish Newbie From Newcastle

Featured Replies

Hi there, just like to introduce myself. I've just bought my first trials bike, partly on a whim but i,ve always fancied having a go. Anyway I got a sherco 250(2000) as a project knowing that it needed the main bearings doing(will be posting in the correct area about this job). I live in the Newcastle area and will be looking for practice areas, hoping warden law is still open but will be looking for alternatives as well.

Hi Lamby, welcome along. Warden law is still open, but I've just been introduced to a place in Guisborough which is well worth the travel time. You can pm me if you have any questions about your Mains as I did mine last year and may be able to help. Good luck.

Cheers for the welcome, funnily enough the first time I had a quick go on a trials bike was down at Charltons at Guisborough and the bike I bought's owner was a member down there as well.

Well got the mains and seals fitted yesterday and eventually got her fired up, but its not all good news as it seems to have quiet a bit of piston slap.
