April 10, 201313 yr hi does anyone know anywhere around bristol gloucestershire where i can get a rear wheel laced ive removed all old spokes refurbed hub and polished the rim also purchased new spokes just need it all put back any info appreciated cheers
April 10, 201313 yr Have a go yourself,its not that hard to do.On a trials bike it does not need to be straight down to the last thou anyway...

April 11, 201313 yr Me and a friend did mine, no high speed testing done so far but really good results and no issues since they were done a year ago (a few trials under my belt). Tried to find someone local in Bristol but draw a blank every time without spending a lot and waiting a while for the privilege...
April 11, 201313 yr Author matts motorcycles in bristol want £120 to fit or £180 supply and fit them so i think ill give it a go see what happens cheers
April 12, 201313 yr Fowlers had genuine spokes in stock when i did mine, just the job and not as expensive as you may think!
April 23, 201313 yr Author well i spent a week on and off polishing my rear hub came up brilliant spokes arrived today so took the bull by the horns and had a go suprisingly went so well done it in less than 2 hours all trued everything found it very theraputic and quite easy to be fair and i say its 99.9% perfect so time to strip front wheel now and have a go at that
April 24, 201313 yr You did put a bit of anti-seize/heavy grease on each spoke threaded end and dab on the nipple/rim contact seat didn't you ? It makes truing easier now and in the future ... Just a tiny bit will do fine / Glenn
