hi guys just a quick question on the decompressor position as i am replacing the old one.

it has always been at the front but can the position under the tank(normal spark plug) position be used ie. swap them round

i thought i read this somewhere kind regards murray

I personal would leave the plug in the center and use the other hole which is a little bit off center for the decompressor.

If you ask me why there is no real reason beside it's common to do so.

The central position of the sparkplug is for a faster and therefore better combustion.
