Bultaco Alpina/sherpa Rolling Chassis

Featured Replies

Can anyone help me find a bultaco sherpa/alpina rolling chassis? Preferably at about 400$ or less. Thanks.

I would do the "seach all craigslist" seach to start with.If possible go to the AMA vintage days and hit the swapmeet.I haven,t ever been there yet,but all of my friends that go say that you can find about anything there. They don,t seem to come up all that often, but I,m always looking so if I see one I will let you know on here.

You already have two of my favorite bikes, the TL and Wombat.I have a Wombat project with everything to make it into a CW,but can,t ever seem to find the time and extra cash to start on it.Good luck in your search.

Cheers, Scott

Thanks for the advice. My wombat is probably in worse cosmetical condition than any other one you have seen. It was converted in to a trials bike about 35 years ago. Then it sat in a barn for about 30 years. Now I have it.

Parts changed:

Frame

Gas tank

Seat

Air box

Shifter lever

Rear brake lever

Fenders

Handlebars

Kill switch

Kick start

Skid plate

Suspension

Foot pegs

Forks

Etc.

Yeah it was changed a lot, still a cool bike though. Many bultaco parts.
