June 6, 200521 yr My 04 290 has what appears to be a small amount of radiator fluid coming out of a tiny hole [in front of the water pump ,but on the underside of the case- 2mm in dia] It is not happening all the time, any ideas before I pull it apart Thanks
June 6, 200521 yr yes the seals are gone in the waterpump,what happens,is the sharft gets worn,takes the edge off the seals,normally only drip from cold.when the coolant gets warm,it stops.had the same thing on my sons o4 125,and my jarvis 290,replace it all for piece of mind......or one day your be dissapionted in not finishing the trial.......BEST OF LUCK.......BIG BEN........
