Introduction And A Question

Featured Replies

Hi All, After some 30 away from trials it's time to try again ???? Before I can get started I was hoping I might ask for some advise re Montesa spares ? I have been offered 1990 Montesa Cota 315 (250cc) which has been stored after being used twice, it's mint and wondered what I should pay/offer for it,

secondly the front and rear caliper seals have gone, my questions ? What are they like as a bike, what are they worth and who or where can I get spare parts from, any help would be great

Thanks Whityeboy

If its a 1990 it won't be a 315 as they did not make them that early. Not sure of the UK price but if mint possibly 800-1000 quid.

Spares should be quite easy from Pidcocks or Sandifords, plus other sources.

I used to ride a 1997 315 and it was a brilliant bike, if the price is right just buy it!

Thanks for the info and advise re spares,

I will check on what it is exactly. The only thing I can say is its a mono, alloy rear arm and mainly turquoise in colour with a bit of yellow here and there.

Thanks Whiteyboy
