August 4, 201313 yr Hi all can anyone help me to locate a 15mm alloy spindle about 230mm long as i broke my bantam one today at a trial and now want to fit a knock through one , i think wrighty was selling them at telford ? or failing that what sort of alloy would i need so i could get the local guy to turn me up one , need it quick as pre 65 champ round next sunday CHEERS FOR ANY HELP
August 4, 201313 yr save time money and hassle... nip down your local trials dealer get something of the appropriate length from a modern bike and change the bearings/ internal spacer as appropriate.. job done
August 4, 201313 yr All modern bikes use aluminium alloy AA7075-T6. Don´t use AW6082-T6. It may be too soft. /Carl

Each end as for the local trials dealer I'm in Somerset. Think BVM is my nearest about 70 miles. But will check out e bay for 2nd hand gasser one or such like Cheers Martin
August 4, 201313 yr Get one made up in steel, difference in weight the same as a dump ! Forget changing bearings, spacers, snail cams and slot in swinging arm ...... why ?
