August 4, 201313 yr just been doing some research etc and just ordered a new rubber manifold flange from inmotion as the carb face which fits to flange on inlet manifold is smooth do you use a o ring as shown in manual as there is no cut out in flange on carb for o ring to fit in ? or does carb just butt up against the rubber flange ? help appreciated

August 5, 201313 yr Hi Dave. I think the Bultaco`s don`t use an O`ring on the Amal carburettors. I know a fair few of the older British bikes use them as in Triumphs and such but I have never seen one on a Bultaco. Cheers Graham.
August 5, 201313 yr My early 250 and the first 325's were flange fittings had no O ring but they had 627 Amals made in Spain Other Amals 626 and 930 I used on my BSA do have O rings and are made in the UK
