August 6, 201313 yr Hi all, Spent a couple of hours in the quarry on the weekend just having fun and then it happened...bike came down on top of me but I managed to save any damage(bike not me)...as I was holding it up (and trying to think how do I get out of this one) it occurred to me does anyone really give the underside of the engine a really good clean? Just a thought Feet up!

Just a thought Feet up! Reminds me of a story about a Road Racer who decided to quit racing after realizing ambulances all use the same headliner material.
August 13, 201313 yr Most TY Mono have serious magnesium corrosion to the bottom of both flywheel and clutch covers. I am sure that this is because bashplates are never removed to clean the build up of crud that accumulates under the motor.
