Hi, I lost my fuel cap for my gas gas 270 1999 model (alloy tank) yesterday whilst riding and am struggling to find a replacement

If anyone knows anyone with one or can send me in the right direction then much appreciated

Yes I am in the uk, live in Lincolnshire, I have looked all over the Internet but can only find the newer type caps

Do the newer caps not fit?

There's a one on eBay listed for a txt pro which looks identical to the one on my 99.

Nope they do not fit, I have already required about this one

I suggest you pull the tank off and carry it to some local bike breakers. It doesn't have to be a GasGas cap as long as the thread size is the same.

It's not a thread, it's just a hole in the tank, it's the bung type, that's why am finding it hard to find one

First thing to do is get yourself a parts list from http://www.gasgasmotos.es/es/manuales/5.html

Then look up the part number............

It'S bt27920010

Then Google the part number
