August 22, 201313 yr Hope you are all having a great summer I planing to change my fork seals on my 199A have looked around a bit on here and Pyramid Parts UK may be the way to go ? they list bultaco but when i use there search it came up blank when i but a date of 1979/ 77or 76 is there a part number i can use please How are there seal kits is every body happy with them are they the ones to fit, is it best to use there Fork Seals & Dust seals kit or just the fork seals and us the bultaco dust covers or go nuts and use all 3 Is there other places to shop on line had a look on ebay but would like to shop in the uk Thanks for all your help BR
August 22, 201313 yr I've got a Pyramide oil and dust seal kit but I don't know the part number anymore. I'll try to find it later. Anyway, only the oil seal has the right dimensions (35-47-7) and it looks like a standard double oil seal (spring loaded oil lip and a small dust lip) The dust seal in this kit has got the wrong outer diameter, 50mm. I also ordered a AllBalls seal kit (part n° 56-143). Any (MX) shop should be able to order these, they are normally used in KTM 80cc bikes. The oil seal (35-47-10) has got two spring loaded seal lips, the bottom one has got even two lips. The (spring loaded) dust seal (35-47,4-4,6/14) should fit (altough outer dia. is 0,4mm to large) but I'm afraid it does not go deep enough (4,6mm) in the fork to stay in place Maybe it will stay in place when I cut of the edge so it will sit deeper in the fork. I will know more when I fit the seals but I first have to order new fork springs before I get around to that...
August 22, 201313 yr I use KTM fork seals in mine as well. Mine are Ariete? seals and they are for a SX 65. 2002 to 2009. With these you only need one seal a side and they work really well. I just use the standard Betor dust caps on mine and they seem fine. Graham.

Your correct, it's for a SX 65, my bad :-) And if you use the original Bultaco dust seals, you only need one oil seal a side of course Edited August 22, 201313 yr by guys
