September 19, 201312 yr just got a lanyard kill switch, does it matter which wire goes where ? just the wires on the new one and old one are different colours jsp
September 19, 201312 yr Are you wiring in conjunction with the strandard kill switch so you still have both options? if so I don't think it matters, you just splice one wire from the lanyard to each of the current kill switch wires, when the lanyard is triggered it should just act the same a the standard kill switch and kill the engine. I am not 100% sure so someone else should chime in here and confirm or not
September 19, 201312 yr reason I was asking is that I was reading another thread about lanyards and more people seem to just wire it in sequence with their existing kill switch so that they can don't always have to pull the lanyard if they are just stopping the bike. Doubling up on kill options seemed like a good idea to me
