Can anyone help , on a standard tlr carb how does the air screw work , if I screw in the revs go up, this does not seem correct to me. As the adjusting screw is at the back off the carb it must be a air screw which in my mind should work the opposite .

    air screw only affects the tickover very low revs.get a nice tickover and adjust screw starting at about 1 and half turns from full in.turning in richens it.hope your needle is 1 slot from top or it will never run right.
