Hi, I'm doing a bit of research & I need results for some of the major trials events of the mid-late 60s.

I've found the winners of these events easily enough on the net, but I'm looking for placings 2nd to 5th if possible, or at least 2nd & 3rd.

I'll start with the European championship of 65, 67 & 69 (or its fore-runner the Henry Grouters Trophy).

Can anyone please help me with who filled the placings & what they rode?

Or direct me to a website that would tell me?

i'm under the impression that the AMCA head office in Cannock has a library of all copies of tmx and maybe other things (ie MCN, etc when they did off road news). obviously British library will have mcn and the two rival magazine (whose name escapes me who were the main news sources). doesn't mortons media (publishers of old bike mart, etc) own the archive of one/both of these?

Could be worthwhile doing a bit of fishing around on www.trialonline.org, which gives individual riders' results going back to the European championships of the 60s.

Does anyone know a site that lists results & placings for British Championships, '65 to '68.

(I know SHM won, but I want top 5 placings if possible)
