I don't recall anything specific with the 2012 model, they had the upgraded shift shaft fitted after the initial 2011 issues. this one also has 2013 plastics and the originals as spares as well as a bunch of other spares by the sound of it so it does seem like a good buy

    lovely bikes but with **** gear boxes, I had the 2012 and had 2 gear selector shafts snap :-(

    I had a 2011 and never had any issues, I thought the shaft had been fixed on the 2012 in your case apparently not!
