January 28, 201412 yr I'm not sure whether the 2nd and 3rd gears on my bantam engine have already been swopped over. If you want to lower the gearing on a transmission then you go for less teeth on the driving end and more on the driven end. So, in the gearbox, am I right in assuming I should end up with the 22 teeth cog on the output shaft, and 21 on the other shaft ?

January 29, 201412 yr yup just done this tonight.. again. fiddle but all sorted now.. you actually move 4 cogs not two..
February 2, 201412 yr Hi Guys, Just about to do the gear swop, and had lost the diagram, need to look no further now thank Smelling. February 2, 201412 yr There were some low 2nd and high 4th gears produced, unfortunately the supplier was taken ill.
