February 1, 201412 yr Iv just purchased the mud/splash guard kit & it has pre-drilled holes but no fixings? Whats the best way to fix? How were the ssdt bikes fitted from factory?
February 1, 201412 yr Hi there ,is it the engine mud protector that goes around the exhaust at the front of the frame? as if it is, it is held on with cable ties to the frame, if not that one sorry can't help as not sure which one it will be. Edited February 1, 201412 yr by fikethebike
February 1, 201412 yr For the front mudguard 'rubber flap' I marked points on the mudguard where to drill holes and then I used 2, short panhead machine screws and 2 large'ish' washers, tightened up with 2 nuts on the inside of the mudguard, simple
February 1, 201412 yr Author yes thanks for both reply, I thought the cable ties would sort the engine guard and for the other bits I was going to use some tiny anodised nuts n bolts that I got in a pack for a 1200 bandit I have.
