February 21, 201412 yr Have totally stripped the bike down to the frame for powder coating but still have the fuel pump to remove. It seems to have quick connectors on the fuel lines but I have no idea how to separate them. Anyone know how?

They definitely push in a bit but won't come out. Scared to break them as no doubt they wont be cheap. Will ring the importer tomorrow and ask
February 21, 201412 yr Can't see from your photo, but looks similar to a plumbing fitting, try pushing pipe in, if there is a collet pull it in as well. Then try and remove pipe.

All sorted now .... In the female side there are 4 'hooks'. You need a tool to push in to open them up . I made one from a felt tip pen lid Edited February 23, 201412 yr by wayne509

I have looked on Ebay and you can get the tools very cheaply but if you are like me and have no patience and want things done 'RIGHT NOW' .... the pen lid is ideal Edited February 23, 201412 yr by wayne509
March 8, 201412 yr Is that a fuel filter there? I don't see one in the parts diagram and I wondered if they use one or not.
