majesty320
I have just been offered a bsa b40 by a guy at work. Its not in bad nick, but is in road spec. Can anybody tell me what needs to be done to make it into a half descent pre-65 mount. Please bear in mind that I dont need a ultra trick comp winning bike, as it would never win anything with me on it anyway, just a descent clubman hack. Thanks Mark

pitley
check engine numbers first. if this b40 has GB stamped on the lh crank case along with the engine numbers its got a trials cluster fitted to army b40 models of the time. other wise you got a road box with a large gap twixt 1st &2nd. gb gears getting like hens teeth. good luck
