March 5, 201412 yr evening all, my rebuilt ty 175 engine was chucking out spooge despite sorting out the jetting. However, having burnt out the exhaust for a few hours on an open fire, then cleaning up with caustic soda, then coke (which made it all shiny inside), the spooge has stopped, the plug is a lovely colour and the silencer end is dry. the bike also sounds and runs much better. if in doubt ............................... ...................... burn it out ;-]
