Bit wierd but my recently acquired 340 has a 36mm Bing ! I am assuming this has been fitted in error? I'd guess 36mm would be about right for an MX engine.

I was pretty sure they came with 28mm???

Also, is the standard 199b (11t x 39t) gearing the same on a 198b or did the 250 have diffenent gearing?

    Hello stue my 199B as a bing carb 84 28mm as patrick says above. The gearing on my 198B is 11T 39T but not sure if its correct.
