198A Oil Leak

Featured Replies

Hello ive noticed a oil leak on the rear engine mount its coming from the center crank case with out spliting the engine is there any way I can stop it? Its only a verry small weep I dont really want to split it as its a good runing engine ive only noticed it because the engins been sat on the bench for a few weeks why I have the framed painted.

You may well find that once the engine is back in the frame and the rear engine mounting bolts are nipped up that it will stop.

If not, Just keep an eye on your gearbox oil level and live with it until its time for an engine rebuild.
